Intercooler pipe size

Bought an FMIC with 2.25" outlets, but unsure whether to continue on with 2.25" pipework or go down to 2"? 2.25" would be easier with fewer reducers but don't know if the this is the best route to go?

If 2" would I be better using a silicone 70-50.8mm reducer on the TB or reducing with silicone 70mm-57mm then in hardline down again to 50.8mm?

elbow reducer will be fine. i get mine from ash.

You can buy off the shelf kits, saves all the hassle! Been there in the past with my other cars, now if theres a kit available I'll just buy it lol

You pay the price for it though, I'd rather just buy bits to make one which I'll probably doing soon for my Megane

most kits are overpriced for what they are. i've just done custom boost pipework for a vx220 and with everything it worked out less than 1/2 the price one of the specialists does for an off the shelf kit.
