Intermittent ABS fault - help please

Hi my 2005 Clio 182 full fat has an intermittent ABS fault which triggers the service light. The fault clears upon restart but may or may not re appear but usually does eventually.

It can come on whilst idling in traffic or whilst moving, or not at all.

I dont have CLIP but my generic code reader gave me this code.

AI seems to think this is ABS pump related. This sounds quite drastic. Any ideas?

Thanks - I bought a couple of rear sensors from link I found on here. I think the fronts are the same each side. However before I change them I thought it might be better to diagnose. I was assuming as its intermittent it might be a wiring issue. The steering angle sensor I think would always show a fault. Failed sensors likewise?

Im trying to find an RS Tuner as I think they can diagnose ABS issues.

Yea don't just be randomly buying parts without even half an idea where the fault is located. Hopefully a sensor, could be a trigger wheel or wiring fault too.

I had the issue very intermittently before I restored the car. I checked all the rings and they are all clean and not split. I just checked the rear sensor wiring and found one not seated perfectly the mounting block so it might have been worked on. I didnt change the sensor though I have a couple of unbranded items ready for the rear. I checked and cleaned the connector to the loom. It was clean, but the fault appeared after about 3 mins of driving :(

Im in the Cotswolds. Near Cirencester.
