iphone 4 battery drain

my iphone 4 has always held charge pretty well until the last 2 days

The battery goes down pretty quickly now like i can fully charge it, go to bed and in the morning its around 60 - 70% battery.

Im doing nothing different to ive always done and not got any apps running that i can see i just always have the settings/messages/phone apps open

Have you restarted it? Usually when this occurs, something in the OS has gone wonky and a reboot will fix it.

Restarted the phone and its been fine since.

First rule of thumb with everything electronic is switch it on and off if it breaks.
