My screen is loose at the bottom corner. To the left of the home button. It clicks like its not stuck down property when pressed.
Silly question but I have to ask. If I go to Genius bar and they replace it. Will it be a brand new one in an unopened box?
You could try heating it up for a bit with a hair drier and then holding it down for a minute or two, the adhesive probably hasn't bonded properly.
And I doubt there will be a vast amount of refirbs available for the 5 yet but who knows. You'd not know the difference anyway and can always reject the one they give you before you leave the store if you're not happy with it.
Either/or whatever is easier for you.
However i doubt tmobile stores are going to swap it as they wont have stock and even if they did i wouldn't be doing returns over new subs.
After reading allot of these posts, all I'm seeing is the iPhone 5 has nothing but problems. Shocking really. Be looking at something else now
it makes me laugh, people read a few peoples opinions on a forum and instantly think the phone must be s**t and has major problems. 5 million handsets have been sold already, where are the other 4,999,899 people complaining lol? People only comment about things on the net when it's to complain
True, but I heard that T-mobile gives you a warranty on the phone for the duration of your contract term (24 months) which is why you may have to replace it with them? Not sure it its true but thought I'd ask on here lol.
Thank you
Apple have to abide by EU/UK law. But it gets tricky after 12 months.
http://www.apple.com/uk/legal/statutory-warranty/
EU law is 24months. They got pwned over it in Italy I think it was.
Are you high?
After 14 or in Vodafone's case, if your device is faulty it's nothing to do with them and they'll openly tell you jog on, once you've signed up they don't give a f*ck.
Thats only on items at delivery though? and iirc the seller is responsible for those claims?
I think that in the first 12 months they have to prove it wasn't like that at delivery. Whereas the second 12months you have to prove it.
Apple don't really make you do anything for a warranty claim anyway. So if they are forced to stick to 24months then everyone will get a swap for 2 years.
I was in meadowhall shopping centre on release day. Loads of phone stores had them in stock, you could walk in and get one there and then.
If I were you, I'd cancel and go get one from a store.
wow this thing is fast, i can't believe the difference, everything is instant, such a refreshing change.
oh and the lightning connection is living up to its name, it transferred 25gb of music in very little time.
I appear to have lost quite a lot of contacts when my number was transferred from O2 to orange. Has this happened to anyone else?
