iPod & iTunes help...

Hi guys

The gf's iPod has gone on the blink, everytime we try and connect it to itunes it just keeps saying do not disconnect on the ipod screen and the computer never recogises it! have tried to update itunes but that doesnt work either, never installs it correctly

Any ideas?

sometimes a different lead works.. i got a video and a nano and sometimes when it doesnt connect properly ( it says do not disconnect on the ipod, the computer doesnt recognise it is connected, then the ipod after a few minutes goes to the normal menu svreen but shows its chrging) i just change the lead im using to connect it to my pc and it connects straight away.. might not work but does for me

THis has happened to me on the nano before. i held in menu and the centre button for a few seconds until the screen goes black with a white apple logo. Once it rebooted it connected fine.

My first thot was the lead, but we got her wee bro's lead and still the same!

TBH they are very good at replacements if it does come to it.
