Is 182 cup suspension lower than a normal 182?

Ive tried searching with no avail. Reason i ask is i want to put 172 cup turinis on my 182 cup and i know about the difference in offset will fit a normal 182 but a cup? Hopefully an expert can help me.

The 182 cup suspension 5mm lower than the standard 182 suspension IIRC..

I thought it was 3mm. Either way it is hardly noticeable.

no one is truely sure! either way is 5mm lower still acceptable for the ET38 on a cup? (which originally has ET45)
