Is APC still the best for cleaning engine bays?

Super degreaser mate. autosmart g101 diluted is awesome on engine bays followed by a little dressing.

it's never been good ben! lol. AG Engine machine cleaner if you can't be arsed ordering. megz super degreaser is a better solution tho.

Hmm.

Maybe its best to clean what i can and repaint whats fucked.

The cam cover is painted in thick black paint, its peeling in places and the bolts are just covered so when they have been taken off its all broken round them etc. But I cant just wip the cam cover off to strip the paint off as the belt will need to come off! How the f**k to I fix that ? :/

Be careful with the AG engine cleaner, best thing is to use 1/2 ratio with water, last time I used it it letterally melted down plastic :dead:

Ditto - even the trade version used neat wont melt anything !
