is this the cheapest place for throttle bodies?

ive just ordered up a kit car and was informed by the compay director of the firm i could have the 2litre zetec brand new engine for £700 from ford i thought that was good then i was told i could have the mtech tuning package who are they i said?
ah there a tuning company with there own engine management system who specialise in throttle body conversions!!!
how much i ask £1300 for jenveys and the mapping and engine management!!!!
so iam getting the new engine with the tuning package for just over £2000 through the kit car company sounds like a bargain to me!!!the kit car weighs 500kg with 170bhp on standard internals thats 340bhp per ton cant wait!!!!

mtech is just megasquirt in productionised form IIRC.

What kit-car have you ordered?

iam taking the 2 litre engine and mating it to the 1.8 litre gearbox as its much lighter than the 2litre gearbox.
it sits behind the driver but in front of the rear axle so essentialy mid engined rear wheel drive lol good idea eh its supposed to be the best bang for bucks kit car you can buy on the market makes caterhams and the likes such a rip off!
its a mev rocket!
i wanted the atomic with the r1 engine weighing in at 300kg!!!! its like a go kart on steroids lol
but its still under development!
