Jacking up a Williams

Seems a stupid question I know but when I try and use the jack supplied with the car, it says to slot the jack into the slot in the car. Well there is some sort of suspension part stopping me being able to do this! Any ideas anyone?

Slot is about 5 to 10 cms back from front wheel. You can see it if you get level with the underside of the car. Jack slots in from the side nearest the centre line of the car. Just line up the tab on the jack with the slot.
