If your overheating the standard brakes in a Clio then the best mod you can do is get track tuition. I am not trying to sound like a smart ass but the Clio's speed comes from momentum, its not a fast car in a straight line. The way to get speed out of a Clio is to carry speed through the corners and that requires a deft touch on the brakes, you don't need to be jamming the anchors on.
