I've booked tomorrow off to give the car a full interior/exterior clean (just using a glaze) Just a few questions to make it clear.

1. stripping wax, should i just mix g101 in with the wash bucket and then just clay ?
2. after the red moose glaze, should i just wax or should i use LP lite (or does it do same thing) ? So wash, clay, wash, dry, glaze, wax ?

Cheers

Edit; title fail, JD Gally, help please :)

Wheels > pre-rinse > pre-wash > wash > clay > rinse > dry > glaze > wax.

You've got it, Lime Prime Lite essentially does the same job as RMG - it's either one or the other. What wax are you using?

Do you have a foam lance? (snowfoam) You can always fill this with G101 and use as a pre-wash to loosen the grime but also help remove the previous layer of wax... Wouldn't worry about this too much though as claying the car will help shift most of the previous protection but also the cleaner (RMG/LPL) will help clean up any remaining traces

Old Jimny bob! Pleasure!

I'd use the RMG then wax, 2 layers of wax if possible mate. Should come up grand. :)

RMG is a filler heavy glaze though Jim, where as LPL is just a prewax cleanser. Depends on whether you want to fill or just create a decent surface for the wax to bond to.

Agree on the snow foam delivery of G101. Great way of starting a fresh :)

Oh and Kane, for the BG 182 buddy, RMG is fine, but Poorboys Black Hole would have been a better choice... although something is ringing in my mind about you not being able to source it out there?

Yeh i have a foam lance, so ill just fill that with g101 ? I am using collinite 915 atm, but after RMG ill be using their carnauba liquid wax.

Will the RMG hide/fill swirls ?

Yes, RMG is a filler heavy glaze, so will fill swirls when applied either by machine or by hand.

I would use G101 in a dilution ratio of 1:4 personally.

jd i have a 1.2 resprayed in BG (not renault BG) i can get poorboys but i dont want the RMG to be a waste lol, i havent used it yet.

Good point RE RMG, JD - oops! Although I have both, I can't remember the last time they were used.

RE G101 Kane, go with JD - you don't want to use it neat! 1:4 will be fine (something like 1:10 for interior usage etc)

"he has a write up for us", urm.. the TT? haha

Haha, I need to stop your Facebook news coming up on my wall. It's like seeing santa before the presents lol.

haha! Ahh, to be honest, I haven't posted the TT anywhere other than on WD.co.uk and of course Facebook - with it only being a small 'new car protection' job.

Something to look forward to this week though - full interior/leather, hub painting and minor correction on a...... Well, you'll just have to wait and see (being dropped off this eve so I may do a sneaky preview shot then)

Anyway, sorry Kane. BTT

Ok, so 1/4 of g101 and 3/4 warm water in lance ?
Also do i just lube te pad with megs last touch when glazing ?
Cheers

That would be 1:4 yes, depends how well protected the car is I guess. That will certainly remove it.

I usually don't tend to find I need to lube the pads when I glaze as I don't need a long work in timeline, as you do with polishes...
