Here was the pre-auction walk around video of the 172 I purchased at USS Nagoya done by Mark at Brave Auto International. Can't wait to get my hands on her!!

There are a few commentary errors from Mark (after market gear knob etc.) but it's a great service he provides.

The Delica can sure drink with the best of them but is a good van to take on the worst of what Canada can throw at it. I have massively enjoyed ownership of it.
Drove it 19 hours down to Utah for a climbing trip a few weeks ago...

This are had "very noticeable engine vibration" so I still bid on it but it went for lots on money because of the genuine mazda speed parts.
I have first refusal on an RX7, i'm going to look at it in a few weeks.

In Canada it's about $1 a litre but fluctuates +/- 20 cents per month.

Yeah we get some looks when driving all these different cars. Even the Evo get loads of attention, the V6 is just ridiculous.

I have mentioned several times about the whole RenaultSport timing belt replacement pit falls but we have a solid group of sensible mechanics/friends that will be super careful and triple check everything (we will do all the work ourselves, my friend has quite the home garage set-up). Engine out of the V6 will be an experience!

I have my ph1 172 arriving in 30 days but the timing belt isn't due for 4.5 years so I don't have to worry!

Have you been out towards Drumheller yet, or west to the likes of Field and Golden? Canmore would be one of my lottery-win locations to move to - absolutely stunning. If you head-on through Golden, you get to Revelstoke and the toilet that is Kamloops beyond it. Seriously, stop for nothing there other than a piss and/or fuel - there's nothing else there (unless you're a train geek).

If you carry on to Vancouver, you'll pass through a small place called Hope, where a lot of the first Rambo film was done. Great little Chinese there too - literally some an Asian woman's front room - lol. Calgary to Vancouver is around 12 hours with a stop or two. I challenge you to beat 9 hours in the VI! :smile:

Regardless - brilliant cars to own with the tarmac and backdrop to boot. Just more than a tad jealous! :up:
