Small update.

2 new potenzas on the front

Can be expensive. Depends on where you love etc. just have to shop around I guess, with it being an import.

Already has 4-2-1 with full exhaust fitted. Plan is to get another ARC airbox, and then supercharge it.

Yeh had one on the ep3, was an amazing airbox.

Kind of liked it's rarity as well

Even on the Evo they don't look nice and don't offer much if any performance gains over a simple panel filter / box upgrade.

Why not try Gruppe M? Vtec lads rave about them and there getting pretty rare with the cheaper Tegiwa about.

Gruppe m is more top end power. Arc is great for mid range grunt, which is where the k20 needs help.

Depending on cost I'd have either tbh, but I do prefer the ARC

Erm anything around 290-320bhp roughly

Unless mapped I will put it out there that none of them make a noticeable increase.

You can feel the difference once fitted, they seem to pull harder. But yeh, they do respond very well to a proper map on Kpro/k100

Rust, crunching gear boxes, rough sounding engines.

Have been known to make quite an increase even without mapping mate.

My one was good a Gruppe M copy but even on an unmapped engine was good .

I like them though. They OE so they work in the correct colour. Don't put Black wheels on the car unless it's just for Winter!

So today I went to area Motorsport to get a few bits done.

Arrived at about 10am and was kindly dropped off at the local weatherspoons

Ended up with a new clutch, lightweight flywheel.

Previous clutch on it way out!! Can see it slowly shredding at the ends

Flywheel had scour marks

I also had the powerflex gearbox mounts fitted, found out it already had the energy engine mounts already.

They also fitted some locking collars to the subframe and fixed a leak on my exhaust.

Top job, great experience and I'll be back soon for sure
