I fitted my JMS kit today (thanks _Nero_ ) and I quite like it although, I can't really tell if it's making any more power now. I feel that it's giving me smoother delivery, possibly masking gains that may have otherwise been perceived. Throttle response is improved and the sound is similar to how I bought the car, with a cone filter and silicone bend, if a little more refined.
The old setup took a line off the silicone bend, which I believed to be crankcase ventilation or whatever. Now in my experience with Pugs, that hose would not blow, or suck, but both (ie. breathe, fast), however, this one sucks and when blocked, the engine stalls. My questions are two:
1. Is it just a hose for idle?
2. Could the breather filter be restricting it when giving some beans, hence not feeling much quicker than before?
