Just fitted my new brake discs

Just finished putting on my new drilled and grooved brake discsthought i would take a few pics to let you guys see them.

here is before and after shots with and without wheels..after a quick spin to make sure everything is ok they make a huge difference when braking very impressed and the best bit they only cost £55 off ebay..

I'd hope so.

Drilled disks tend to crack when they get some action, i'd go with brembo maxs if you want a "pretty" disk otherwise i'd get brembo high carbons.

I think you put them on the wrong way round mate. Think the grooves are meant to face the other way. looks good tho.

how can you tell whether its a front or rear caliper and what side from that pic?

well on 182 the caliper is on the same side as the bumper for the fronts and the caliper is larger than the rear one which is closest to the bumper also.

yeah thats them..


no didnt replace the brake pads as i jus did them couple months ago and it says they will work fine with renault pads and they do very big difference in braking over standard discs

No mate, i was serious for a change lol...

The grooves should sweep backwards, so yes, the above discs are on the wrong side of the car. They need swapping over.

not true, the cheap knockoff's will! We run drilled disks on the karts, cars and i've got a special; set coming from brembo for the vee!

The grooves should sweep backwards, so yes, the above discs are on the wrong side of the car. They need swapping over.

its debatable, i always install them with the grooves sweeping forwards, prodirve run the WRC with them sweeping forward on the front and backward on the rear

sweeping forward i find they give more "bite"
