Here is my lovely little Clio 1.6 16v Dynamique Billabong! Brought her a while back and had started to buy a few bits when in December it was hit by a bus, 5 months later the bus company accepted liability and it was fixed up. Was going to sell her and try and insure a Clio sport in august but by the sound of it everyone's insurance is going up faster then you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. So I will keep the 1.6 for at least another year ( I Think:rasp: ).
Mods so far:
Color-code front and rear diamond and Clio badge.
Color-code door handles and side strips
Color-code spoiler
RS Grill
Bonnet Bra – Haters gunna Hate? lol
Paint bullets iceberg silver (like CS)
Bee Sting Ariel
Alpine iDa-x305

Mod’s to come:
172 Rear Bumper
Color-code font rub strips
Coilovers

And who knows after that…

Recently replaces all 4 tyres and cambelt ect so money is a little short at the mo but I hope that I can bring some big updates soon!

Had some big changes since i last posted, i should now be going back to college in september so its a race against time to get as much done as i can afford before then! First up was 172 rear bumper, next will be coilovers/colour code front end.

yeah its a good mod, just remember that you need sport rear arch liners too, unlike me !!

Ahh I'll keep that in mind thanks! Im not running any arch liners at the minute so thats sorted as it stands haha

I fitted 172 alloys and the passenger rear was rubbing and leaving horrible marks on the liner so I removed them and it seems to have done the trick

So I decided to colour code my front bumper mouldings to finish off the colour-coding. Lessons Learnt:
1. Never buy pattern parts from eBay.
2. Never buy paint from halfords (every can is different) GRR.

But I got there in the end - not perfect but loads better then having them not painted...

Next up might be coilovers.. Fingers Crossed

More updates, probably the last for a while as i am back at college the week after next! So we have:
New K&N Induction kit, sounds great (Probably no power gain LOL)

Painted my dash strips and gear stick, not sprayshack quality but my best so far!

Got some RS door sill covers..

And finally removed my rear wiper and replaced with a smooth wiper cover (also painted this pearl black-ish LOL)

Got an exhaust comming so watch this space.

One question, when you painted the rub strips on the bumper, did you take them off or spray them on the car?
I want to know how to take mine off!

Right.. I sprayed my bumpers on the car.. Because it was easier. And they were only a touch up of black.. Because they'd gone faded lol
Case closed.

EDIT: I took the side strips off to spray them!

Push back ones to the front and front ones to the back, front ones might need a bit of persuasion with a screwdriver.

I got the same K&N filter on my K4J

as you said, sounds great but the car breaths a lot better and it is nippier specially above 4k revs

lol owning a 172 is like the be all and end all on this place, 172 owners should stop wasting their money on old s**t boxes and move onto the mk3's!!

like your car dude, miss my little black dynamiques! k4m is a good engine shame its so thirsty! lol make sure you use renault or a specialist for the belts or else you will end up with the timing out and down on power
