Key No Longer Works

I can no longer open the locks on the car with the spare key for the car, the fact its been sitting without a battery for about a month is no doubt the reason....What do i need to do to get it to work again ?? need to go to the stealers ???

need key re-programmed or just charge the battery up.

Ive just replace the battery in it, so do i need to go to dealer to get it re coded ? how much that going to set me bak ?

Check the battery is the right way round

Hehe I replaced them the wrong way round once and wondered why neither of my keys worked lol

possibly sit in the car hold down the central locking button inside and when it double locks so to speak press the key 3 times and it should work P.S. i cant remember if it works on clios though

So hold down the locking thing in the car till it double locks ( do clios double lock ?) then press fob 3 times......I tryed openin car ith key that works starting engine withkey that dosnt then pressing th fob but nothing happend

sit in the car press and hold the c/l button it will lock keep holding it and it will open but make a double clunk sound realise button and plip the key 3 times it may work if it has been coded to the car (i.e. before you left the batterys out)

Yeah it was coded to the car beforei removed battery from it mate

If u take trhe batteries out for longer than a day or so, it'll need recoding

may work then i know most renaults you can do this but unsure if you can on clios. As it sun afternoon and my brain is dead.

Cheers mate it worked, just have to hold c/l in car and it will lock few seconds later unlock let it go and press fob and it works
