knocking when driving mk2 ph2

Since lowering my car ive been getting a slight knocking on front drivers side. Seems to be getting worse ill just be driving along then it will start making a knocking noise... so i tap the brake and it goes away. What could it be? CV Joint>? are driveshafts expensive?

Could be either drive shafts or CV mate....
