To answer the actual question, the map will be a complete file, so if you put one on then put another on, the first will have been replaced with the second and hence no longer be there.
The "crackle" map or any form of "pops and bangs" map is likely to negatively impact engine life if you spend a lot of time with it doing its chavvy thing in a big way as those sounds are NOT the sounds of things going well inside your engine.
Personally if I was in the market for a generic map, I would go with the RS Tuner one, you can get this with added pops and bangs if you really feel you need those in your life, although as Im sure you can tell from my tone I personally think its a bad idea TBH, but then I am very old etc.
RS Tuners the vast majority of people get good results from, IME with Ktec maps its the opposite so Id never recommend them to anyone, their AFRs are all over the place generally speaking (very lazy mapping) and they frequently use what I personally consider to be highly incorrect ignition values, and the knock sensor on datalogged cars with their maps on also agrees with me on that.
Have a look in Kyles thread to see the standard of Ktec's work, there is an AFR trace that they supplied to a customer to show him how good they thought his map was, its like a fecking map of the alps!
