KTR / JANSPEED 182 system - Problem plzzzz help

right i have had this system with the silencer since nov 2010 from k tec,
now upon acceleration (light & heavy) this is a whistly tinny sound, this has been about pretty much from new.
now as the drive to dorset is 3hrs for me i tried to sort this prob out locally, mechanics said it was fine but i know it was not how a after market system should sound, so after taking a trip to k tec i made it there quite late and the mechanics had look over b4 they closed, the guy diagnosed the prob out as the bracket that connects the system to the cat, so took the bracket away and had it fitted professionally, all sealed and done the prob was still there!
it sounds tinny, rattles somewhat, and everytime from cold about a minute into driving of if pops/rattles like its trying to release!
no this system has lifetime guarantee, is there a prob and what is it likely to be????
someone mentioned baffles??

Mine did this mate and i only had it fitted last week.
After a few days it started to blow where it was connected to the cat.
I took it back to where i had it fitted and the guy had to put a new bracket on at the join.
He said the exhaust was moving causing the rattle sound.
Id check all the mounts and brackets mate.
I cant imagine its the exhaust, just something loose somewhere

look at your heatshields, they're terrible for tearing round the bolts. There's also one spot where most aftermarket exhaust get pretty close to the sheilds and it needs bending out a little

ive got a janspeed centre section, with standard rear boxes, (cheap fix for rattleing standard centre) and mine is exactly as you describe it with a slight tinny noise, just think its janspeed center sections mate,

If it something loose it still don't explain why the system is poor when cold only, surely if something loose then it would be constant , but how did u get on?? Is ya prob solved and is ya exhaust sounding decent ??

exhausts grow when they get hot. It could be lightly touching a sheild when it's cold, but expanding enough to move away when hot

Hi thanks, when you say heat shield, that's those silver tin foil looking bits bolted on? So I'll check there not loose cheers
