Last bit of attention for the time being :(

  BMW M5 & E36
I'm heading off to university on Saturday, starting my first year, and a policy of living in halls is that no cars can be taken :(

Based on that, I thought it'd only be right to give the Clio a good going over before I put it away in the garage for however many weeks/months until i'm next home.

Ive done a pretty good job by my standards, and compared to previous efforts of mine it turned out quite well. I used an extra strong AG shampoo solution, followed by SRP and EGP, with AG bumper care used throughout on the black bits. Halfords tyre stuff on the tyres, believe it or not! :rasp:

I believe these are also the first pics ive posted since I refurbed the wheels, so comments on those are appreciated :)

Plans include Sportlines and possibly tinting the windows to carry on with the black/red theme. Opinions?

Anywho, they should all be clickable so take a look. Yes i did get a bit trigger happy!

Cheers,
Chris

I did use some if you'd have read! Just not the best stuff going :)

And yep, I did get a bit keen on the number of snaps. Do need something to remember it by though!

All the best for Uni. Good job with the cleaning. Might be worth have your folks run it every once in a while and rotate the tyres to avoid flat spots.

I'm off Saturday too dude. It's going to be hard leaving my car. Oh and my family:) There is parking but I don't know the area, so I'll not take it until Christmas (at least) in case it is rough.

My car got a polish yesterday and its final 'proper' drive tonight too - yours looks good.

Your parents insured on your car? Mine will be taking my car for a run while I am away. Where are you off to Uni?

Yeah Ive got my mum on the policy as a named driver so thats not a bad option, but she won't be able to reverse it back into the garage for sh*t! Dad would have known the story but we lost him last October :dapprove:

I'm going to Oxford Brookes Uni to study Motorsport Technology, should be good :)

Could always get it on axle stands in the garage to avoid flat spots and just get mum to leave it idling for 20 mins or so every once in a while? Saying that though I'll hopefully be back before too long to give it some abuse! :D

Thanks for the comments

Good job on the cleaning mate. Nice flip flops.
My brother went to Oxford Brookes. Looks like a nice place, but they hate cars there. So many cyclists about. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

Cheers ^

Did another layer of EGP today, cleaned the wheels properly and painted the rear drums black. Shame its going to sit doing nothing and collecting dust!
