a few new pics of the clio since it's latest addition:

thinking of having the cage painted but don't want it to look chav like all these fake chrome cages.

what do you think people red (body colour), silver to match dash inserts harnesses etc, anthrasite to match the wheels as they are now. or white and maybe paint the wheels white too.

tempting after the gritters have stopped plastering the roads with s**t.

always loved white wheels on red cars,

the pics arn't very clear as they were taken off my phone but the boot build, the rear floor and where the seat backs used to be are all covered in suede material to match the centre of the recaros

only 4mm mdf was used in place of the rear seats it adds hardly any weight but looks nicer than just the back of my sub box and the floor under the seat covered in shiny sound deadening.

Red cage for me. It will go well with the fire extinguisher.

That sub box is deffinately an aqquired taste! lol

trust me the install in the clio is very subtle compared to my last cars, i wouldnt call a single rockford fosgate 12" sub and t8001 amp flush mounted into the floor chav, i never drive round town with crap like basshunter turned up it's mainly for sound quality.

Just a s**t load of weight added on though. As said, its a personal choice i guess but i wouldnt bother with it and just amp some good quality speakers.

White cage and white wheels might look a little s**t but then i would leave it as is.

nice car, what cage is it u have? is it a functional cgae or just a show cage?

if its functional then get it painted black. get the rims in black. nice 30-35mm drop and that car will be sex.

that boot install is kak, spoiling a sexual car!

Not to sure I'd have a sub in the back and all that MDF(or whatever the enclosure is made of) if i'd spent all that time losing weight out the car.

Keep the cage as it is, particularly if its a safety devices rollcage, you dont wanna paint over the logo!

I'd keep the cage black myself, colour or polished cages do like rather chav most of the time, and it's going to attract the police!

Need a PS of the white wheels to have an idea, but I'd probably say leave them as is, you can go too far

alex has probably had the pin taken out of the sachs to allow lower adjustment

No you are right, the only way to lower a trophy is to replace the springs.

You can only adjust dampening on the trophy shock absorbers.

Alex has lowered his on Apex springs LOL, ride quality isnt too bad really..

And yes the brake set up is the on Ali had on his 172
