led rear lights problem

I have recently fitted LED rear lights ok a 2 minute plug in job. But one of them as a habit of going off after a while. Then comes back on when the brake light is activated. Anyone else experienced this? The light unit connections are all sealed with what looks like silicone and there`s a sealed box in there too, which i suspect as resistors in it. Theyre only a month old so I guess I should return them.

only thing i could suggest would be to clean the connectors with electrical contact solution. or wd40 if your struggling. otherwise send them back if theres a problem with their wiring.

Thanks Middo will give that a go. Have tried contacting the place "Deviant Styling" where they were purchased but the guy seems reluctant to reply. Shame really its my sons car and he hsa a part time job, It took him three weeks graft to buy them. So as a warning if anyone does buy this type of product that can be faulty, get it from somewhere it can be returned to without any hassle even if it involves a little extra cost.

Hes got the bug. Its those angel eye wotsits next, then he wants a different grille where will it all end.
