Gave my Parents Lexus a going over at the weekend. Following stages were done...

Megs APC
Clay'd
Zymol Shampoo - 2 Bucket Method
Wheels Off - Cleaned + Arches (APC)
PC'd - Meguairs #83
AG EGP - 60min!
Zymol Wax
Dressings/Interior
Engine Bay

Rather pleased with the results, paint was very rough and now nice and silky! Photos not the best. Always forget to take pictures at certain stages when doing this.

Oh aye, i'm not slating your detail, just the shockingly bad quality of lexi wheels.

Nice job there, nice bus too.

What's the engine look like under that massive cover ? (I know it's a V6) Does the cover just pop off ? Weird seeing things all covered up but most cars are like that these days:(

Think its relatively the same layout as the Clio V6... just more room!, more a less a clip off clip on, just to confuse the older generation to take the car back to Lexus £££

Ah ok, does the engine look anything special without the cover on it ?

iirc, re the wheels, Lexus is the expensive brand name for Toyota, well it was years ago.

Indeed, they still are. Just like lifting up an Audi bonnet and finding VW badges all over the place. In fact, I'm pretty sure there was a story floating around not long ago about a Bugatti Veyron owner being very pissed off at finding VW stamped on something in the engine bay lol.

Good job mate.

The 250 is great to drive.

Check if the wheels are starting to bubble. If they are then you will get them replaced under warranty. 3 years, if i remember rightly.

PM me if you need any help mate. Used to work at Lexus. ;)

Thats a job! but will be worth it in the end
