Just put my xeon bulbs in (only the gas filled ones not the ones with the loom etc) but what a mega difference same Watt as standard bulbs but the kit came with side lights, dipped and main bulbs lovely clean white whoo! Plus got me self some nice silver bulbs for the rear ;-)

oh yeah lost a few layers of skin on my hand in the process of putting the bulbs in also but no difference to when you have to change a bulb in a Bentley lol

Looks Great, and in standard Mk2, makes all the insides of the Lights shine up Bluey due to the side lights...

@ OP i just fit a set of these bulbs look well nice just need some white sidelights now and they look so yellow against the white headlights :dapprove:

I got the "xenon look" bulbs too.

The ones with the blue tip, Ive read in a flew places to avoid the bulbs with the silver cap because they blow quickly.

Also the led cluster side lights make a great difference to the look too.

gonna have to go buy some leds now then to lol. All i want for my clio now is a rs grille and a set of flat wiper blades then i will be happy!

If you want the same effect you may aswell wrap you bulbs in Lee filters full CTB (converts Tungsten 3200k to photographic day light 5700K), it will drop brighnesst by aprox one stop (roughly 10th of the output) but will give you the desired colur temprature. You can request a sample from the website (www.leefilters.com) which is big enough to wrap your bulbs without having to spend a peny.

Look good, only the ends dont fold down on the screen... But they all do this, have looked into it...

Worth it though because they work properly as soon as you turn them on...
