Little help with a 1.4 RT

My mums RT needs a new clutch. Can anyone lend a hand on how you go about this, as it appears to need the entire gearbox dropping to get at it. My Dad is an excellent mechanic (Has kept everyone of my cars on the road when ive violated them). Is it something we can do, or does it need a garage to sort it out!

if your dads a mechanic surely he knows whether he could do it himself or not?

He is, but never worked on a clios clutch. Was just after some advice if any one else had done it.

apparently they are a right bugger! my dad is also a mechanic and he can do it so im guessing that your dad can but it does take a lot of time so he might not want to
