locating Clio16v Grommet - WTF

Had a peek under the bonnet the other night to find out where i should be running the power cables for my amps -> bat. Now i could be playing dumb - but i could find the grommet everyone is taking about. From the Engine bay i can see only one rubbder washer that looks something like a grommet, but that has already got a cable coming through it.

Does anyone have any pics of this so-called grommet i should be looking out for? as i dont fancy drilling through my bulkhead - for obvious reasons really.

Ill have a couple of pics up for you in a min mate. Have you got an alarm fitted (non-standard)? My toad also uses the grommet to go through, but there was enough room to get the amp wiring through too. It was a pain though.

how about getting 4 gauge wire through there?

Wouldnt be a problem for mine, i just dont think i need 4 gauge.

i had a 4 gauge and an 8 guage through there, just had to open up the hole a bit, but not too hard a task.

Hi ya mate

I slapped 2 Guage through for a show we were at last year!!

And the piccys illustrate it good!

Just shove your fist under the glovebox and fiddle away mate

Try fitting 3 sets of RCAs under the carpet and things that cover by the doors!
