Locking up rear brakes!

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo

Im having a problem with my rear brakes locking up every time I apply hard/ish braking, Ive had the rear lowered recently and I presume that the valve thing hasnt been adjusted and my brakes think Ive got 3 passengers in the back, is this right? Is it easy to adjust? I need to sort this, my car wants to swap ends all the time and braking on corners is impossible!

Its easy to adjust mate. You need:

13mm spanner, 8mm (i think) spanner and a pair of grips

Mine was doing the same, until i adjusted it now its fine. :)

Ah, the wonderful rear brake bias valve... Always scares me since Adi ended up rolling his silver valver because of the same problem

yup, had this problem only slightly more severe! Think you need to remove at least one of the pads then just adjust the silver caliper cylinder (1/4 rotations, otherwise will be miles out). I just used a screw driver to adjust it too btw, pretty quick job.
