thanks f0xy and everyone whos helped, ok then the reason am asking we couldnt get into the back because its virtually impossible, and because we didnt remove the cover completey we couldnt see anything.. well hardly anyway.. so if your right, if i remove the plenum completley then wollah! it should be bang infront of my face?

just wondering should the coil pack plugs come out just by pulling? i found it extremely difficult to pull them out... is there a technique or release mechanism to get the buggers out?

  RB 182 & Lotus Evora
actually ive not seen the design on the 1.2 so cant say, give them a good yank if there are no bolts.

i think there are like long rods that go inside to the spark plugs... these wires are the only obstruction i reckon to removing the whole plenum and to looking inside

Just pull them out buy the rubber bit nearest the engine, not the lead itself. Job done!

LOL... good god! Unlucky mate, but, this was only ever going to end one way! Have you managed to find the throttle body yet?!

Lmao at using a sock. Another chav mod is WD40 nitro if your interested. I doubt it would have caused serious damage and its a p1ss easy one to fix in all honesty.
Remember if you take the inlet off you may need to replace a gasket. If you have a cable throttle follow the cable from the pedal through the bulk head into the engine bay. It will end on the throttle body.

I think whatever pics appear, the best one should be included in the 2009 Cliosport calender.

Just as a nice reminder that no matter how dumb you may have been in the past, there is always someone out there who has been dumber.;)
