Loose connection in Clio footwell (Picture)

  Clio 2004 1.5 DCI 80
Hey, I bought my Clio (late 2004 1.5 DCI80 Dynamique) a couple of months ago, everything's all good except there's a loose cluster hanging from the the top of the footwell as pictured.
I've looked around the area and I cant find anywhere that it would fit in and I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it's for.

I'll have a quick guess at this, that maybe your clutch switch connector and a bundle of wires may have a white connector with 5 wires this will be your cruise control wiring.

Ahh right, kinda makes sense as I don't have cruise control, so it's supposed to be unused? If so I'll just tape it up to stop it falling in front of the pedals.
Thank You!
