Aldi today have a National Geographic one in. It's the same spec as a Hero (pretty much exactly the same camera) and £30 with a load of accessories.

I've already got a Hero but the wife is going in today to grab one of these.

Edit. It's actually better than the Hero as you can watch back on this camera.

Given the trouble I've had with my GoPro I'm really disillusioned with the brand, I thought I was paying a premium for quality and service but next time round I think I'll be looking for a cheaper alternative too.

No suction but its got a 3m stickey pad thing for it. A std suction mount will work tho i think.

I've got an SJ4000 and Mobius. The mobius is better for a dashcam as it can be setup to start recording when it gets power. Unless there's a firmware update I'm not aware of, the SJ4000 won't do that. SJ4000 comes with a waterproof case so is better in that respect.

There's so many manufacturers out there wanting a piece...if in doubt, only use vendors listed on Techmoan's review pages.

Yeah get the SJ4000. The Aldi one is pretty poor tbh.
