Hi Guys & Girls!
Thought id take advantage of the lovely weather this weekend & decided to fit my new bits ..
Apex Springs (please dont lecture me about Eibach's & Apex ..... im happy with them ),
Scorpion De-Cat,
Type-R Ariel.

Then spent about 5 hours today giving her a good pampering as iv been working 7days a week for about 5 weeks... (& i work on sites) So she was MINGING!!lol.

Cleaned it & Polished it using all Megs products & then thought id take a few new shots with my Camera (i have no idea how to use it,so apologies for the poor pics )....

The De-cat popped up on here the other day & im to inpatient to wait until i have a full system to fit them together.
Tunes are ok,them 6x9's are not connected up tho. I was running front Comps & 6x9's off an amp but missed my Bass so have thrown the Sub back in & will be getting a new shelf & some rear comps.

The Silver Wheels are growing on me,i was planning on doing them in the Gun Metal but not so sure anymore.

Ye the springs give a nice drop,not too much & not too little,just want to get some wheel spacers now to improve the stance a bit.

Oh right,haha . I thought you might of when i read it back after!lol.

Exhaust sounds ok,only a tiny bit loader/throatier. Most the noise comes off the engine/Induction kit.

I dont mind the ride TBH,wanted Coilovers but not got the cash ATM. Just think it makes the rear look abit cleaner & fresher without the wiper,

I personally dont think so...BUT there are ALOT of people on here who say they are.
I can cope,knowing that iv got a spot-on ride height & only paid £60 for it!!lol

car looks lovely mate. nice to see a black 182 with silver wheels. your hard cleaning work paid off!

not a keen lover on the sub, but on the brightside the apex springs gives it the perfect drop.

How are you finding the apex? Think i'll buy some eibach springs but apex certainly give the best stance!

Looks good matey, I used to have Apex springs. They were quite firm, but you could live with it. I am now looking at getting some lowering springs again, I want the lows of the Apex, but the comfort of the Eibachs!

Na the wheels will be staying,i like to try & stay as OEM as possible. Will just give them a re-furb when i decide on a colour.

Na i dont think it had suspension/wheel Cup pack, just the Spoiler/Splitter pack Untill some little scrote knicked the genuine splitter…thats why iv got a Skoda 1 fitted at the moment
& no,theres no spacers at the moment but im hoping to get 25mm spacers all round asap mate.

The Decat is just a Scorpion pipe. Got mine off a member on here but i think there about £65 on Ebay. Good quality & a good fit aswell.

Haha… we're semi-skimmed!!lol.
I like the stance but i want a wider track!lol. So spacers are deffo next on the 'to-do' list.
I think its a LITTLE bit more responsive bottom end than it was,but not a massive difference to be honest. But wasnt really expecting much as you do only get minimum gains on an N/A engine anyway.

Thanks guys, ye i always prefer the OEM look. Nearly got it looking how i want it now, then i can make a start on the engine

The 6x9's will be going soon!lol. But sub stays… cant listen to Dubstep & D'n'B on componants!lol.

If your going to refurb the wheels, please keep them silver! It looks really clean on silver alloys.

I'm currently saving to get mine refurbed before the winter hits.

Agreed with the removal of the 6x9's. However I do like a bit of bass also ha ha!

Had the 6x9's because i have 2 kids so i was trying to save space grow up a bit by making the Clio my 1st of cars with no Sub in it, but as you can see …… Epic fail!! Haha.

Well I might get rid of my sub that I have at the moment and get an under seat one.

The one I have takes up a fair bit of room in the boot.

It also slides about a bit when 'in the twisties'.

Iv thought about doing that but i dont think an underseat Sub would give me enough bass. Have also been thinking about doing a custom box to maybe save a little space,lol.
I have a bungie round the box to the 2x securing loops behind rear bench (just removed it for pics)
