lowering clio mk2 facelift

Yeah im gonna have a go at doin this, so has anyone else done it and came into problems? what spring kit is best and how much. its a dci btw.

I used Apex of my previous clio, -40mm, nice comprimise bewteen looks, handling and comfort. -60mm is better for looks but thats about it.

That was my two 1.2 16vs I had (Dynamique51reg/Extreme52reg) -40mm Apex springs. I have also got -40mm Apex springs for the 172, although these are obviously different. My mate has had G-max on his extreme, done 17k ang they are knackered. The Apex seem to be good quality.
 


ive got -35mm pi springs on my facelift 1.6, its fine, rubs a bit every now and then bit no biggie. Anyone....would better shocks etc make a big improvement to handling, much better than the springs on their own?
