Lowering different springs on different shocks

  Monaco Blue 172
hi i was thinking of getting a lowering kit, but later on if i decided to go lower could i get some different lowering springs?

just asking as ive heard the theory if u lower on standard shocks, the problems where the springs could fall out when u jack it up etc... (as the shocks are too high for the lower springs)

so if im buying a lowering kit 35mm, and decide later on i want to go lower, say 40-50mm would this be ok as the shocks should rightfully be shortened then the standard ones? or would they still not be the right height for the spring?

i know this is kind of a confusing question, as im confusing myself as i write it :p - but if anyone has any clue what im trying to get at here, this would be a great help cheers :)
