Lowering Springs for a higher engine size?

Hello all, I have a 1.2 8v MK2 non sport model and ive been offered some 55mm Jamex lowering springs for cheap by a mate but theyre for 1.4/1.6/1.5dci models. Anyone know if theyll fit my car? Cheers Scott

Now i really am unsure had a look on the jamex site but says they fit a 1.1/1.2

yes they will fit but they will be thicker springs/higher spring rate for the 1.4/1.6/1.5 dci so wont lower as much or work properly with the 1.2 as its a much lighter engine...
