Paid a deposit on this today, needs some work but was cheap enough.

Couple of dents that need sorting on 1/4 panels, don’t think it’s been cleaned throughly for a long time.

Nothing exciting pic wise.

Paid 2.3k, I thought that was cheap enough. Box rebuilt last year, belts 2015. Mot history is good.

I’m not going to make it a stunner, going to daily it so presentable is the goal.

I tried initially, he had it up for 3k and was being harassed.

It’s hard to price LY as if it was silver it’s a 1k car.

I have 6x cars insured with Paceward.

4x full no claims and the other 2x have phantom no claims, what ever that means

Usual CS mods but will look brilliant.

Laguna splitters were like hot cakes in the late 90s, the weapon on choice, can't believe how rare they are now. They look similar ish to the non sports with the grill slats. I would rather that or a MK1 Megane splitter over a flat Fabia one though, CS really need to research another alternative instead of the flat look.

In LY I would say it's a bargain. Doesn't seem that long ago my mrs sold her one for £££

Amazing the colour premium for LY, like you say it's a 1000 quid car in silver.

Still, tidy up and it'll be worth more than you paid so laughing

It's the best car colour ever, bar maybe Midnight Purple or Merlin Purple. it deserves its premium.

Touch wood it will clean up well, like I said it will never be a minter. I was pleased to see it's not had paint (not sure on front bumper yet) so all panels are uniform and correct shade which is a bonus. Prices for these vary so much, all I know is in the LY world this i scraping the barrel in terms of price.

Other than drivers seat I also have a mint unmarked interior ready to fit! Includes parcelshelf, door cards, window switches, silver dash trim, head unit, hazard panel, aircon panel, front passenger seat and rear seats.

I’m the 9th owner. Not really fussed tbh as it was cheap enough not to be a problem.

If it was a 5k plus car that would possibly make me feel different.
