M.O.T Failed!

I'm gutted, I knew it would fail, but its going to cost me £268 to put right I havnt even got the money.

Nearside front direction indicator slightly discoloured

Front master cylinder fluid close to minium level

front (both) drag link end ball has slight play

front (both) brake disc slightluy worn

front (joint) exhaust system has a minor leak of exhaust gases

O S F for lamp lens broken

One of the bulbs in inop (wtf) in centre stop lamp

both front tyres worn on edges and slight slight cut in thread

Thats quite a few problems, though to be honest you could fix some of them yourself and save some money. Changing the bulbs for instance is easy and takes 5 minutes where they are probably charging you half hours labour.

also you've only got 10 days to get it done before they make you take a full M.O.T test again ..... do it all in one day from the day of the test and its free , sorry m8

Front master cylinder fluid close to minium level top it up then! Couple more quid

front (both) drag link end ball has slight play Anti roll bar bush i assume, fiver each and a bit of a pain to fit but not bad

front (both) brake disc slightluy worn Id expect them to be slightly worn! Are they under the minimum width? If so new discs and pads £50-60 for normal stuff?

front (joint) exhaust system has a minor leak of exhaust gases Well seal it up then with some exhaust pste! £2-3

O S F for lamp lens broken fog lamp? New one from scrappies £5-10? Or take both off completly!

One of the bulbs in inop (wtf) in centre stop lamp middle brake light? cant remember if they are sealed in your car, if so get a new unit from the scrappies again and change the full thing, if not get a new bulb! Few more quid

both front tyres worn on edges and slight slight cut in thread 2 new tyres, £60 or so

No need for it to be so much!
