MacBook Wipe & Fresh Install

Anybody got a link to a useful guide for wiping the HD on a MacBook and then re-installing everything?

I'm runnin' a bit retro at the moment on OSX 10.5 if that makes any difference at all...

put all the .dmg files on an external drive if you still have them, or drag the apps onto the external hd (although some of them, maybe a alot stopped working when i put them back on)

turn ure mac off, put your disc in and hold D i think it is, then just choose to wipe everything off and re install osx, very simples
