Magnex exhaust help

J

Hi, at the weekend I fitted a magnex 6x4 backbox to my 03 172, for a start the exhaust seemed to short, it didn't stick out passed the bumper enough, but have got round this.
The main issue I have is the mounting, I have used the OE rear mount, rubbers in good condition so doesn't sag, but there is a second mounting welded to the backbox on the right hand side as you look at the rear of the car. I did not get any brackets with the exhaust, but when looking on the net it seems to be pictured with a bracket that looks like the OE one?

I am a little concerned about the stability of it, but can't see where a second bracket could be fitted? One other thing I observed is that the original exhaust has a screw on the backbox hanger to stop it moving off the mount? The magnex just slides onto the mount and is fixed by the exhaust clamp onto the cat pipe? sorry for all the questions but any help would be great :)

Cheers Jon

There is a bracket that bolts in between the standard renault exhaust mount and the body of the car, it then Passes over the rear silencer to line uP with the other bracket on the exhaust, if magnex can't supply you with one get one welded to the body.

Thanks for the prompt reply :) I will give magnex a call tomoz. I assume there is a rubber also to connect the hanger to the backbox. Thanks Jon
