Magpie's Oem+ Cup

Hi guys, bought this little gem off Steve Murr late August. Only October I got stuck in. First thing was to get her de swirled & fitted some new Cup 172 decals. Little things make such a difference.

Current mods are only -

Snappy wheel
ktr stealth exhaust
Rarb

Then I went online & ordered a few nice bits!

Front & rear Cup shocks
Eibach sportlines (currently sitting on prolines)
Powerflex purple bushes for the entire underside
Renault service kit & NGK plugs
K-tek induction kit
PMS top mounts & brace (need to tell hubby I want them for xmas!)

So she's going in on tuesday for a service & coolant change with a shiney new expansion bottle. Oh and my ktr induction kit will be going on too.

Last week we went up to see Mick at Diamond motors, he was selling his new cup turini's off his cup that he'd sold. Just had to have them as mine just looked dull. Drives spot on now, very pleased!

lol, cheers boys! Interior is spot on tbh, just a small spot on the drivers seat I'm struggeling to remove but I hope to fit blue trendlines next year so not fussed. seats are just dreary!

How easy do the badges stick got new stickers for the doors worried they'll fall off.Great car Can't beat the cup ooh nice ktec filter i noticed.Enjoy

Got her back from a service & coolant change today, also did the expansion bottle. Induction kit is lovely! Makes me want to put me foot down! Mechanic couldn't believe how mint she was, said he needed slippers to get in her!

Once my shocks etc are fitted I'll be doing the bay next!

Thats the joys of chasing perfection!

Just to let you know they are pretty expensive from Renault and Dave doesn't do them continuously (took a few months to get the group buy organised).

Cheers guys! Betty's already cleaned I'm afraid! She's off into storage next week or so so I can concentrate on detailing professionally!

Plans on the bay are possibly bright silver on the lower cover & anthracite on the manifold etc

What did you paint the arches with? Im going to be tidying mine over the winter and was going to stone chip mine then paint over that. Not sure whether to colour match or just use black

Chemical Guys Bare Bones. Really does give a lovely finish, still looks good & beads nicely!

Original Black Gold, had the front end, skirts & rear bumper resprayed this year

Got the new shocks, sportlines & top mounts with Brace fitted yesterday. Drives even better, I'm very pleased! Next week the polybushes are being done. Then I can start on the engine!
