Manback - New for 2006

Well i have finally lowered my car, was never sure how it would effect me, so i thought id just do it on the cheep to see what its like, so I got some springs and I dropped it. Also got my 172 alloys on, was supposed to be getting Fred to refurbish them this weekend but he had other plans.

Pros and cons then

Pros
Looks sweet
Holds roundabouts better

Cons
The roads round here are not race track smooth and I struggle, it skips out front and rear, had to drop my average speed loads.

i cant get my trolley jack under the car any more.

Its eating through me wheel arch liners, even though I have used spacers.

Opinions??
Plan on getting the wheels done in gunmetal too!!

cant decide if i want clear side indicators or not, i might stay old skool!
just got back from doncaster where i met joshydee who was a bit gutted his new IK hasnt given him the speed an extra 60k miles has given my clio.

Might have to take my spare wheel out... get me those extra mph's, seriously though yours is a lot faster, and idles so quiet... must be those Merc coils

shh, dont tell them about the merc parts, ill get banned for lack of breakdowns!
we seemed even up to 4th gear, then it was like u just stayed in 3rd.

no idea, been doing it ever since i had 195/55/15 eagle gsd3's on my standard alloys. i got spacers and its started again with the 172 alloys, im sure its just a clio build quality problem..... nothing to worry about then!!

seems unusual, i have no probs with mine... wonder if the earlier clios had a slightly different spacing.

i wasnt expectin to see it rubin, spesh on them alloys. i know myn are 15s but i hav no wories on 60 mm drop. i realy dnt hav a clue lol

yeh, ull have 185/55/15's
i went for 195/50/15's
they are cheeper, look crap but stops curbing abit!!
