Mason's Liquid yellow R27

Hey guys, I'm new on here been on Clio197.net since I got the car a few months ago so thought I'd put a thread on here.

Its a LY 197 r27 and this is how it sits atm.....

H&R 30/40 springEibach 20mm spacers
Ktec cat back and decat
Itg induction kit
Carbon fibre diffuser
Powder coated alloys in dark anthracite grey
Carbon fibre diamonds
Carbon fibre cup spoiler tips (waiting on the cup spoiler)

i didnt like them at first, was gonna sell mine when i bought the car... but its really grown on me

why did you go for the 197 cf diffuser rather than a 200 one? just out of curiosity, and do you have any better pics of the back?

Only just had the wheels painted so still waiting for the centres to be painted as well.

The diffuser was on the car when I brought it mate, but don't think I'd go for a 200 one think the 197's looks bit more aggressive.

Yeah he did mate, he said it cost him a grand haha so didn't do to bad wouldn't have brought 1 if it wasn't on when I got it though but does look so good, that's the only reason I got the spoiler tips just to match.

Alright had a noise around your car looks smart soooo clean, mine needs a good machine polish !!

Update....


Got a cup spoiler fitted with my carbon end plates on too, looks great just didn't enjoy drilling the holes in the boot lol. Got a few pic's cars a bit grubby tho.

Haven't updated in ages so thought id try keep it up to date.

Brought a 64mm throttle body and was bored one Saturday so messed about with the itg maxogen induction kit I already had to make a custom setup.

It didn't fell any different to how it was previous and I think it looked a bit better before too so I soon changed it back (bit of a waste of time but it did sound quite good)

In the last week or so I brought the renaultsport front splitter and fitted it a few days later.

Once that was on thought it was missing something on the sides so brought the skirts as well.

So that's how it sits at the moment. Thinking about a toyosport manifold to go with the decatted ktec next but haven't heard of many 197 owners fitting them (bar 1 on clio197.net) so a little unsure if there worth it which would be followed by a remap maybe with Danny at 519 or TDF.

Forgot I even had a project thread on here but as I've recently brought a 172 I've been looking through the marketplace a lot haha.

So here's how my 197 sits at the moment, can't remember what's different to last time I posted (over a year ago).

Here's the 172, I plan on it being a trackday car but will keep it on the road.

I think it is RS200 but I beleve it is missin some features if you could please help me i would be grateful??
