Max N/A Power for F4R

  Peugeot 106 Rallye ITB'd.
I'm just wondering what is the most your likely to see out of a 172/182 N/A??
and a 197 N/A??

I'm a 106 guy ya see and i know the Maxi 16v machines were meant to be making up to 235bhp @ 9000rpm or so N/A. Most i seen on the road is 207-210bhp N/A, with a s**t load of mods and money.

Whats the likely power from the above clio's with the likes of Bodies, Cams, Head Work, Hi Comp Pistons, Rods etc etc

  ITB'd MK1
the most from a good FULL build with a lot of attention to detail, without converting to solid lifters (so staying sub 8k rpm) is ~240bhp

ah right cool.

so if you was to go all out with solid lifters and wild cams etc etc, what would you be looking at?? a full race build??

  ITB'd MK1
solid lifters add far more to the cost than anything else, and for the smallest gain. Roughly an extra £3k for 5-10bhp. Not worth it IMO, it's not a honda

  BLK RSC172
if you threw lots and lotsa money at it.. i reccon you could get about 280-300hp....
but you are talkin alota custom components, using race fuel, and it would be compleatly unstreetable.
