MBP stopped charging!!

My 11 month old MBP has decided to stop taking a charge. Plugged in a friends charger and that doesn't work either?

Does any know how Apple will resolve this? I really need the machine this weekend but I somehow don't think I'll have it for then.

Any ideas guys?

Same happened to mine about a year back. Booked into the genius bar at Apple store walked out 30 mins later with a brand new one. Apple customer service is second to none IMO

In which case should I take my 8GB ram out and out put the standard 4GB back in. I also can't back the thing up? Without change?

1. Shut down the computer.
2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
   Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

Thanks Tom, I'll give that a go when I get home. I've left it on charge while I'm out to see if it's just the LED light issue.

I have a genius bar this afternoon. m i right in thinking i should swop the Ram over incase they change the unit?

If anything it will be as good as brand new mate, Apple don't f**k about with their warranty. Think Christopher has had about six of them now (which doesn't bode well for Apple QC lol).

Tell me about it. I actually tried another charger which i know works, which didn't work.
