Last night, I got a 13" MBP i'm buzzing off it

4GB memory
2.4 Duo Core
250GB HDD

Any tips or decent stuff to download, apps to get?

I'm a windows user first proper Mac use i've had!

I wanted a 13" MBP but I just had to have an i7 processor, so went for the 15" instead.

Had the mac over a year now and never done any maintenance!!

Just use Disk Utility if you feel you need to do anything, should be fine anyway it's not designed to have maintenance every 5 minutes like a PC.

I have not tried that. I use SABnzbd+ which I find absolutely superb. The UI operates inside Safari, and pretty much everything is totally automated. Highly recommended.

Will give it a try later on / tomorrow.

It's pretty simple. I like it a lot. Just appears as a Safari tab. All the basics are very easy to use. I used Newsbin Pro for PC, and I wouldn't want to back to that TBH.

I've now tried this. It's really good I have to say. It's a bit weird to get used to at first coming from Grabit but it's actually very easy to use and works very well. Thanks for the heads up
