mcguire's scratch X tips needed

Anyone have any tips for using mcguire's scratch X? Bought some at the weekend to try and shift some minor scratching, but I simply cannot get any results at all using the following detail method:

1. Clean surface area to remove any dirt and defects
2. Apply product with a clean, dry polishing cloth, working gently into the effected area
3. Allow to dry
4. Remove with a second clean, dry polishing cloth
5. Follow up with a non-cutting polish


Anyone?

Need to work it aggressively or it won't do anything. Don't let it dry, needs to be worked back and forth until there is nothing left to remove. To give it more bite and get even pressure use a folded terry towel. Multiple applications 5 - 10 in some cases are need to make it have any real effect. Only do small 12 inch by 12 inch area at a time.

Worked wonders on the bonnet of my coupe where my dog jumped up on it

can do yes. but only when not used with correct pads and or polish's.

just do it by hand.
