Megane 1.4 Mk1 immobilizer light always off - non starter

Hi, the fob opens and locks the doors and the engine turns over but won't start.
The immobilizer light will not come on at all.
Scanner showed missing 12v supply to the antenna ring. Has anyone had knowledge of this type of error?
