Megane 5dr Evo Style Bodyconver

Just been quoted 975notes for the 10piece bodyconversion in the pic below, and 630 notes for fitting and spraying it all - Just intrested in your views, I think it looks well smart and I want a 5door as its diffrent, more of a challange in my views...

The price includes:

Front Bumper
Back Bumper
Skirts
Wide Archs
Evo style spoiler
full fibre glass bonnet

+ Fitting
+ Spraying

Going to total about 1605 notes before I contact the insurance company.

I wouldnt do it ! I think that the 2.0 16v meganes look very nice as they are , but its up to mate .

I used to have the phase 1 version of that car lowered on 17s with splitter etc and, although i loved that car to death, it was always a lost cause!

Youll never be able to sell it (who wants a maxd megane family car?), there are very few bits about for the 5-door and itll never be that quick. Things may have changed by now but its really not worth the effort in any case - certainly not if youre going for that kit! If you want a big car, choose something with a good performance base - ie R19 16V, 21T etc because, speaking from experience, you never be satisfied.....

Looking back it was probably a good thing i wrapped my one round a tree - at least i got most of my money back. I certainly wouldnt have if id tried to sell it.....

Forgot to say - if you really want a bodykit on that car, theres one made by AS design or something abailable through Prima and its very nice. basically just side skirts, spolier and splitter but far better than the above - ill try and find pics....

Itd need colour-coded/bright respray IMO but far better than the EVO that started this post!

That Prima Coupe kit is gorgeous - get one of those and scrap all ideas of the 5 door!!

Although my car is as standard as they come I do like *most* modified cars I see. That 5 door is pretty grim though! I was going to try and be constructive with my criticism but the only thing I can really say about it is bbbblllleurrrrrrrrrgh..

My view is that its ugly, its pink and most people will laugh when they see it, but if that is what you like, then do it.

And by "Evo style", does that mean like a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo? If so, which bit? It looks like a pink 5 door Megane to me, even with all the body kit!
