Massive overkill for 1*2's.
Decent discs and pads will do just as much, and be half the cost and much less hassle!
It 's your opinion mate.
But consider this:
I'm running Megane R26 Brembos on clio original size Brembo HC disk with blue stuff pas all around... I have the same or very similar breaking power that Carbone Lorraine RC6/RC8 pad with Brembo MAX grooved disk...
The only thing: I'm using the same disk since over a year, blue stuff pad last about 3/4 track days ( approximately 1000 kilometer of track use), due to bigger size pad, better pressure distribution, better heat dissipation (thank to the alloy calliper); my breaking system is a lot less stressed, less hot, and show itself to be reliable at the extreme for an hypothetical never-ending track session... I beat or compete with super-car in term of breaking performance. Breaking noise and dust are limited to a minimum considering pads. in up-keeping, a Set of 39 pound Brembo HC every year and half and set of blues stuff every 5 to 6 month depending mainly on how much track day I'm doing.
Comparing with my OEM set up, where breaking system get so hot that valve plug start melting, it growl and make a lot more anoying noise, brake dust destroy completely alloy rims 's painting, heavy use will make you replace your pads every 2 track day( which by the way CL pad are more expensive that Blue stuff) and the same goes for the disk, i use to replace my disk twice a year...
it is self explanatory... on very heavy use, brembo 4 pot kit will be more reliable, less expensive on up-keeping, as it use less pad and less disk, while breaking better and still using cheap middle range pads and disks... but like you said you have to get to buy it. and that original purchase comes with a cost.
Edit: added a pic of my Cup with R26 brake, it is not only performing, it 's also looke Fxxxing good!
Here comes the bonus ... Rear R26 Big brake set up...(also keeping the original disk size)
A last one
