I'd drop the Hot Shine tyre Dressing and go for the Meguiars Endurance Tyre Dressing Gel. It's a purple liquid and is in a bottle similar to washing up liquid, has about the same consistancy come to that too.

Something to dry your car with. I like the Megs water magnets a lot.
I wouldn't get both spray and tech wax just get the Tech wax and perhaps get a bottle of NXT speed detailer for touch ups.
Couple of buckets and of you go :p

Why would anybody want to use glass to clean anything with?? Surely that would be like using sandpaper. :rasp:

Agree with this, we've got both and the Gel is easier to apply, looks better AND lasts longer.

As for the overall package, I went for this...

Wash Mitt
Water Magnet
Terry Towel
Microfibre Cloth
3x pack of Foam Applicators

NXT Wash
NXT Wax
Megs Endurance Tyre Gel
AG Engine & Machine Cleaner
AG Super Resin Polish
AG Glass Polish

So far thats all lasted me over a year now, and I clean my car weekly if at all possible. Add to that a pack of paintbrushes and a Halfords Alloy Brush and you're sorted for ages!

MF's are for removing wax - polish etc. I find them really bad for drying your car, unless it's just a spray of Quick Detail etc...

I would'nt use a normal MF to dry a car must take ages?

Waffle Weave Microfiber Drying Towels made for the task work well though.
